I had a small New Years Eve party. Not much. We went all the way out to Sisquane to attend a small party at Dot's. Dot's brothers were going to throw a big bash, but they ran out of cash, so it was just a small party with Dot, Dot's older brothers, Marissa, Holly, and me. Of course, Mr. DeVries would pop in every now and then, asking if we wanted anything like more refreshments, or whatever. I like Mr. DeVries. He always says something and ends with "Ja?". Like, "2009 will be a much better year, ja?"

 

Dot's family is Dutch by the way. So we pigged out on Pizza, Cheezos, Hawaiian Punch, Cola, Popcorn, and watched a lot of movies. Dot's brother rigged up this thing where when midnight strikes, one of them would yank down the cord and balloons, streamers and confetti would drop all over as we rung in the New Year. Dot's bros and pros at making stuff. So midnight came, and wham! It all came out! I tossed some at Marissa, then some at Holly, and we just had fun.

 

School's started again.  That's about it.
