IOWA test was boring - planting flowers for Lady Bird Johnson

Well the IOWA test came and went. It was the most ridiculous test ever. It's worse than the STAR tests they give out.

There were some pretty hard sections but I got through it.

Marissa was going completely nuts about it. "Sammy! What if I get the lowest grade in the class? What if my reading level is that of a 4th grader? What if? What if? .."

Yeah, Marissa can be a real worrier. I didn't really care that much. It was for an official grade, and it was done with.

Tomorrow, this weekend, I'm going to plant some flowers at the Santa Martina Central Park to help celebrate Lady Bird Johnson and her dedication to preserving and conserving nature. Not just me, but there was a bulletin board up at school, where you find a lot of volunteering hours offers, and the plant some flowers at the park seemed a easy one. Besides, flowers are kinda cool, especially to Dot. Her mother is a tulip freak.

Well I'm going to plant some flowers in dedication to L. Bird Johnson. Sounds awesome!

Saw the movie, PSAT was tough

I saw the movie, and it was awesome.

Unfortunately, Danny Kessler didn't make it . Disappointed

    Oh well.

I haven't noticed, but now it seems that all the cats in Santa Monica are going bananas! You can hear cats meowing all over the town at night. I'm not kidding. Dorito is still acting up more than usual. Quite a phenomenon. It's quite a mystery. Maybe I can solve it. Wink

Well, I got through the PSAT, not with flying colors. It was so tough. I left a few blanks here and there. I guessed where I could. Oh man am I so worry.

Results come in December. Rats. I'm scared to find out.

Well that's it. Got tons of work to do right now.

Going to see Resident Evil : Extinction

Yay! I'm going to see Resident Evil Extinction at the movie theater tomorrow! Open-mouthed

Marissa, Dot, Holly, and I managed to find time (in our very busy schedules) to get together and sit down at a movie.

We just chose this movie, only because Marissa knows (or heard) that David Kessler is going to be there. David Kessler is this very hunky junior at Santa Martina High. He is so suave. Well usually I'm not this crazy about a boy, but wow - he's like the alpha king.

So anyway, he's going to be there, and it would be awesome to be around his presence. And the movie doesn't seem to bad either.

School's been ok. Grams is the same as usual. Dorito's been acting funny again though - I can't figure out why.

She's been unusually hyper. Grams says it has to do with what they're putting in cat food these days, but I'm thinking it's something else.

So life's nice, and I'm going to the movies tomorrow.

    PSAT's coming up!

PSAT's coming up for all sophomores.

    I'm so worried! Crying

I've been doing little practicing booklets for the PSAT, and I'm not doing so hot.

The math section is as easy as pie. Math is always the same.

It's the English part that's killing me. There's words I don't get, there's answers to passages I don't get, it's far too complex for my brain.

I guess I'm going to have to really work on it. In one English section, I got 10/24 wrong. That's awful.

Man do I hate the SAT's.

    Homecoming Game & Dance

Homecoming Game - We lost 34-26 against the Santa Luisa Lions. Rats.

Homecoming Dance - Very fun! I'm quite surprised. We had a crazy jungle theme this year. The servers and staff were dress in funny loincloths (appropriate style of course), and those other jungle-like clothes, even the safari suit. There were lots of decorations, and they brought in tons of trees and flowers. There was even a few cages of real wild animals. Even a snake!

The music was the usual DJ thing, and we, as the students, just wore dress-up clothes. Just clean nice clothes, although some of us were a little extravagant (like Marissa!). Nothing jungle-like though - the theme was a surprise.

I didn't take any picture or videos though. I didn't have time to.

Dot, Holly, Marissa and I did a prank on Heather and Taylor. We through a fake stuffed snake at them, and they were so shocked and scared, they screamed and ran off into the night. I mean, they just saw the snake, freaked out, and ran! They didn't even look back to see the snake.

We didn't get caught though - the dance was large, large enough that we didn't get caught by a teacher. LOL.

    It was fun.

Life's been ok, and nothing much else is going on. We have Columbus Day (Oct. 8) off. Yay!
