Had a wonderful Thanksgiving over at Hudson's place. Me and Grams brought over some food we bought at the store, the day before, and took it over to Hudsons. My mom came in around at 7AM and took a taxi here. So all morning, we worked on the Thanksgiving feast, and it was kinda fun. There weren't even kitchen accidents this year! I also got to lick the spoon for the chocolate pie. Mmm!

 

Then I set up the table for the feast, and one of Hudson's buddies came by to join us, Marissa also swooped in because her family was eating later. So we said what we were thankful for, and dug in! I ate a lot of ham, turkey, cranberry sauce, candied yams, and lots of dressing! Everybody else ate with lots of gusto too. Then afterwards, for desert, I enjoyed a lovely strawberry tart, chocolate pie, and pumpkin pie. That was delish! Hudson's friend, Jackson, told us a lot of war stories and it was pretty fascinating. Then we played a little scrabble in front of the fireplace, with some holiday tunes on the radio playing in the background. Pretty cozy Thanksgiving if you ask me. I saved a little turkey for Dorito to eat, when I got home.

 

My mom caught up to us on how her career was going. Her increasing relationship with Casey's father (yuck!) and all that. Grams did a lot of discussing with her.

 

Then we started cleaning up, putting the leftovers away and everything. Then the guys watched some football, and that's about it. How was your Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is coming up! I really can't wait. I get 3 days off school next week, and also, my mom is going to visit. I guess having her come over once in awhile isn't too bad, considering she's my mother after all. I love being thankful for what I do have in life, and digging out in Grams delicious turkey she makes every Thanksgiving (well except the one time, I accidentally burned it...).

 

Casey might have dinner with me too. Also, Hudson Graham is dining with us too. And Dorito of course .
