It's the last day of June. It's also my mom's and my uncle's birthday. I had no idea they were twins until now. I think they're both 45. Marissa, one of my best friends is off in China vacationing with her family. Dot and her family went to Holland for 2 weeks. Holly is so busy at the Pup Parlor. So it's only me, Grams, Dorito, and Hudson. It's kind of boring though. I haven't had a mystery for a long time. Nothing has really come up. I did play some softball today with some other friends. It was ok, but I still wish the others were here. Dorito has been pretty active lately. Nothing really much is happening.

 

The boy I liked moved. That was sad for me. At least I got his e-mail, and he has replied to me. Otherwise than that, there's really not anything else to do around here. Grams suggested I volunteer at the library. All you pretty much do is shelve books, which is boring to me. But Grams said it looks good on your resume or transcrips or whatever, so I'm going to do it anyways. I'm going to the library soon to apply. I'll just work a few hours a week. I guess the library isn't that bad. At least it's cool in there. I might find some interesting stuff too. Better than nothing. So that's about it so far.

Yesterday was the Summer Solstice. The longest day of the summer. Or the beginning of summer. I forgot. But it's something like that. Summer is my favorite season of the year. It's nice, and warm, and you can just feel free. So I was happy that summer officially began yesterday. To me, it's been summer since school was out. It feels great to finally have summer come.

 

Although it's not big here in America (I live in Santa Martina, CA), it's really big in Europe. I even have a friend from Finlan (was a foreign exchange student) says that it's a big holiday there. So it must really be something. They even had some celebrations in major cities across the U.S.

 

Sorry I haven't updated much lately. It's just that I don't feel like it. I'll try to write more often. I'm just always busy and having fun!
